Vision & Brain Training
At the San Antonio Eye and Face Institute, we offer Sports Vision and Brain Training that focuses on enhancing visual skills and cognitive functions to improve athletic performance. We utilize the Senaptec Sensory Station and Senaptec Stroboscopic Goggles to sharpen visual acuity, depth perception, and reaction times, as well as cognitive tasks that boost focus, decision-making, and coordination. By integrating these training methods, athletes can achieve better on-field or court performance and a competitive edge.
Gain a Competitive Edge
Sensory Station
The Senaptec Sensory Station is a cutting-edge tool designed to enhance athletic performance by training various sensory and cognitive skills. It offers a range of exercises that improve visual acuity, reaction time, and hand-eye coordination, tailored to athletes' specific needs. By regularly using the Sensory Station, athletes can refine their sensory processing and cognitive abilities, leading to more effective performance on the field or court.
Strobe Goggles
Stroboscopic goggles are designed to enhance athletic performance by challenging the visual system to adapt to rapidly changing light conditions. These goggles intermittently block and allow light, simulating unpredictable environments that train athletes' reaction times and visual processing abilities. By using stroboscopic goggles, athletes can improve their ability to track moving objects, make quick decisions, and enhance overall coordination.
Mental Training
Athletes use visualization to vividly imagine themselves executing skills and achieving goals, which helps build confidence and reinforce positive outcomes. Reprogramming the subconscious mind involves altering limiting beliefs and self-doubt through techniques such as affirmations and meditation. These mental strategies can lead to improved focus, resilience, and overall performance in competitive sports.
